Artist Statement
Visual art has always been my favorite way of realizing my bountiful imagination and sharing subjects that I find beautiful through the distinct voice that my utensil resonates. In many of my watercolor and acrylic paintings, I strive to capture the beauty of the sea from the everchanging waves to the beautiful shimmer and hues that the sky bestows them. Through my ink drawings, I use intricacy to explore macabre and botanical subjects, from a knotty tree to a human skull with slimy tentacles writhing from within.
